Enron

Written by Lucy Prebble | Directed by Hannah Wolf | University of Texas Theatre and Dance

A true story of false profits, ENRON follows the astounding rise and fall of the Houston-based energy company. Presented as an epic myth, featuring a cast of all women and non-binary actors, ENRON takes us through the twists and turns of capitalism, the glamour of greed and the toxic adrenaline of success.

Austin Chronicle says:

"Together with a committed cast of all-in actors and a dream team of designers, director Hannah Wolf successfully proves that reframing and commenting upon history can be as simple as switching out the storytellers. And these storytellers hit the mark again and again..."

Austin American Statesman

Austin American Statesman says:

"The nine girls who make up The Wolves are an acting ensemble in the truest sense of the word. The several scenes in which they flawlessly practice passing the soccer ball serve as a perfect metaphor for the amazing work they do together on stage. . . . With such a dynamite cast, directed pitch-perfectly in an excellent script, The Wolves truly leads the pack of current Austin productions."

DNA

Written by Dennis Kelly | Directed by Molly Karrasch | Capital T Theatre

CTX Live Theatre says:

"The playwright creates strikingly elliptical speeches for many of these characters, none more so than Jan (Adrian Collins) and Mark (Nicolas Saenz). These two are the first we hear, and they almost always appear together, exchanging rapid bursts of incomplete sentences. They function as the chorus throughout, and their almost telepathic communication is both comic and unsettling."
